The next time you see Kevin Spacey onscreen, he’ll be playing a character who is ruthless, unsympathetic and completely self-centered. No, not Frank Underwood, a cat.
That’s right. The two-time Oscar winner and Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire will be next appearing onscreen as a CGI-generated cat named Mister Fuzzypants.
I've enjoyed the headlines but I do NOT play a cat in Nine Lives. The cat will be a cat. No posters of me in a cat suit, sorry to disappoint

In the film, “Nine Lives,” Spacey is transformed into a cat as punishment for being an ego-driven executive whose pursuit of boardroom success causes him to ignore his own family. (Actually, just doing this film seems like Spacey is being punished for something). The premise seems to be that, by becoming Mr. Fuzzypants, he will gain a completely new perspective on his wife and children, possibly by observing things that his human incarnation chose to ignore.
“Nine Lives” also stars Christopher Walken and Jennifer Garner, and was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, who put Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in matching Ray-Bans for “Men In Black.” The movie hits theaters August 5, 2016, but we wish we could see it right meow.
