Part of your responsibility as a cat owner is to make sure your pet is up to date on all necessary vaccinations and that annual examinations, medications, and routine care are maintained. Like a small child, a new kitten will need a battery of vaccines at the beginning of his life and follow-up care throughout his life. Medications may, at some point, also play a part in your cats health care, and administering medications can sometimes be a challenge to a cat owner. Observe changes in your cats health and communicate with your veterinarian. The two of you can work together to ensure that your cat enjoys a good quality of life.
