Vaccine and Routine Care

Learn why vaccines and routine care are so important to your cat's health.

Learn why vaccines and routine care are so important to your cat's health.

Vaccines and routine check-ups can prolong your cats lifePart of your responsibility as a cat owner is to make sure your pet is up to date on all necessary vaccinations and that annual examinations, medications, and routine care are maintained. Like a small child, a new kitten will need a battery of vaccines at the beginning of his life and follow-up care throughout his life. Medications may, at some point, also play a part in your cats health care, and administering medications can sometimes be a challenge to a cat owner. Observe changes in your cats health and communicate with your veterinarian. The two of you can work together to ensure that your cat enjoys a good quality of life.
