Aged water: (n.) Aged water can either be tap water that has been left out so long that its chlorine has been neutralized, or it is aquarium water that does not contain a lot of nutrients (not water taken out during a water change). Aged water that comes from an aquarium is good for breeding, as it has the same chemistry as the show aquarium, but is not “dirty.”
