The woman on the other end of the line sounded worried, even frantic. “There is something very wrong with my dog!” she exclaimed to Norma B., a Silky Terrier breeder in Texas who had recently sold the woman a puppy.
Norma asked what the puppy was doing.
“He jumped up on the chair, then to the countertop, and pushed all the buttons on my phone, completely messing up the programming. Every time the ice maker dumps ice, he runs to the refrigerator and barks at it. He never stops moving. What’s wrong with him?” the woman asked.
Norma laughed: “It sounds to me like you have a completely normal Silky Terrier.”
