‘The Late Show’ Seeks Talented Dogs

Dog owners can apply for Letterman's regular Stupid Pet Tricks feature.

“The Late Show With David Letterman” is looking for contestants to appear on the upcoming segments of the show’s regular Stupid Pet Tricks feature.

As the name implies, Stupid Pet Tricks are silly or humorous stunts, actions or activities that a pet performs on command in front of an audience.

Pet owners can apply by calling pet trick coordinator Brian Eta at (888) 738-8745 to qualify for an audition. The trick must be fun, unique and safe.

Also, animals must perform voluntarily and be treated humanely. Pets must be amateurs, and their owners must be willing to appear with them on the show.

“The Late Show With David Letterman,” a comedy talk show, airs weeknights at 11:30 p.m. Eastern and Pacific Standard Time on CBS.
