Sara B. has allergies. She’s allergic to dogs, cats, horses, dust, pollen, trees, and more. She has a cough-variant form of asthma, and if she buries her face in pet fur or rests her cheek against a horse, she’s likely to develop hives, breathing problems, puffy and watery eyes, and an extended sneezing attack. Sara, who lives in New Jersey, shares her home with her husband, two children, five dogs, and four cats. Sometimes, she even lets a dog sleep in the bed. Most of the time, she doesn’t even sneeze.
