When Chip S.’ Boxer Buster died at age 4 from cancer, Chris was not only heartbroken, he was confused.
Buster seemed too young to die, so Chris, who lives in Oregon, asked the veterinarian if Buster’s food could have had anything to do with his disease. “The veterinarian said no. He said, ‘All dog foods are pretty much the same,’” Chris says. “Well, that didn’t make sense to me. Why wouldn’t food impact health?”
