St. Louis Pond-O-Rama Tour Set for Late June

Event offers the public a chance to view private water gardens and ponds in the St. Louis area.

If you live in the St. Louis, MO area or will be visiting the area the weekend of June 21-22, the St. Louis Water Gardening Society’s 14th annual Water Garden and Pond Tour, the Pond-O-Rama, will take place starting at 9 a.m. each day. This is your chance to view many private water gardens in the St. Louis metropolitan area and in parts of neighboring Illinois. The tour will showcase water features ranging from thundering waterfalls to quiet streams. Viewers will be able to observe pondless waterfalls and various water gardens as well as koi ponds and gardens with various other water features. The tour will commence each day based on geographic location. Pond-O-Rama is the only time that society members open their gardens to the public.

Profits made from the event will go primarily to the St Louis Water Gardening Society to assist in their efforts to continue their civic project to plant and keep up the reflecting pools at the Jewel Box in Forest Park. For more information, visit the Society’s website at
