Preparations are in full swing for this year’s Pet Fashion Week New York. The event will highlight the design innovations in the dog fashion industry and showcase up-and-coming dog clothing designers alongside established names in canine couture.
Following the success of the inaugural show in 2006, people have begun lining up for the chance to speak at this summer’s trade show. The week-long event will feature speakers discussing topics related to pet industry marketing and public relations, but the highlight of the week will no doubt be the runway shows and styling showcases on August 18 and 19, 2007, which feature human and dog models alike wearing the latest fashions.
The list of this year’s Pet Fashion Week NY speakers has just been finalized and includes discussions with representatives from dog product manufacturers Crystallized and Isle of Dogs, and the editor of The Pet Elite magazine.
All seminars take place on the 5th floor of the Metropolitan Pavilion at 125 West 18th Street in New York City. The trade show runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. August 18 and 19, 2007, with a buyer runway fashion show at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
