Meet the artist behind the mischievous Cheshire Cat.

 It’s the smile we remember, long after the Cat’s body and eyes have faded.

“I wish I had a cat like the Cheshire Cat,” says artist, singer and cat owner Annie Haslam. “His whole face was so huge, and his mouth was almost the whole face.” Haslam loves the original artwork in the “Alice in Wonderland” books. As the front woman for the classic art rock band Renaissance, she and Electric Light Orchestra founder Roy Wood produced a solo album, “Annie in Wonderland;” its cover spotlights Alice’s characters – the Cheshire Cat rests by her feet.
