Dogs who share beds with their humans are not known for being generous with space. They’re all paws and legs, and they wiggle TOO MUCH throughout the night.

But one family had a brilliant solution. The Hughes Family of Clinton Park, New York, actually got a second bed to fit all of their rescue dogs, and pushed it against their bed, according to their Facebook post, which has already been shared more than 4,500 times. Now the dogs give their humans enough room to snooze, and they have plenty for themselves, too.

Not only are Chris and Mareisa Hughes generous with their own pets, but they also help provide for other animals through The Mr. Mo Project. The Mr. Mo Project is a rescue group for elderly dogs, who are often less likely to be adopted than younger dogs.

The couple’s own canine crew is a mix of dogs who all have unique backgrounds. They have former Greyhound racers, previous strays, a rescue from a hoarding situation, and their mascot for The Mr. Mo Project, Gremlin, a former fighter who became a therapy dog in schools and children’s hospitals, according to The Dodo.

The second bed is just the beginning of this happy family’s snuggle setting. They are currently looking to have a custom bed frame made for the massive bed, and will add stairs and a ramp to the frame, in order to accommodate their older pups.

“They all come from different paths and have different temperaments, and they all work together,” Chris Hughes told The Dodo. “My wife and I thank the dogs for letting us sleep in their bed
