Robin Williams Remembered

We remember Robin Williams, an actor whose many roles included two penguins in the films Happy Feet and Happy Feet 2.

Robin Williams was a big part of my childhood?lt;em>Aladdin, Jumanji, Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire?nd I absolutely adored his character in Good Will Hunting. So it was a blow to hear about his death today. I, and everyone here at BirdChannel.com, express our condolences to his family, and to everyone who loved Robin Williams.

His filmography is long and vast, no role too small or large. One of his smaller roles (albeit animated roles) were the penguins Ramon and Lovelace in the Happy Feet movies. If you?e never seen these movies (Happy Feet, Happy Feet 2), gather the kids and fids around the television or computer and put those movies on. They?e real delights, and there? nothing like watching penguin!Williams dance and sing and, in one of the best moments of the first film, take on an orca. Check out some of the penguin shenanigans and singing in the clip.

We?l miss you, Robin Williams. RIP, and take a visit at the Rainbow Bridge, too. I bet there are some birds there that’ll be happy to meet you.
