A person’s unique features make them unforgettable, and beautiful in a way that no one else can be. The same can be said for dogs. No two dogs look exactly the same, and that’s what makes them all so wonderful. Especially a dog named Woody.
Woody’s face is slightly crooked. It became that way after he was attacked by another dog at around 5 weeks old, and his owners did not get him proper vet care to treat his injuries, The Dodo reports.
A few months later, those owners abandoned him when they moved out of their Tennessee house, and left him chained up.
Luckily, Woody (about 8 months old now) was ultimately taken in Courtney Bellew, director of Special Needs Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation (SNARR) Northeast, who fell in love with his lovely mug instantly.
“He’s absolutely hilarious,” Bellew told The Dodo. “His personality matches his kind of goofy face. He’s a little bit of a spaz. He’s a big puppy. He doesn’t seem to have any medical issues from the attack.”
He’s also very loving and snuggly with his new foster mom, Jamie Bond.
“The first day we had Woody I was sick with a fever. He knew something wasn’t right and never left my side,” Bond told The Dodo. “He snuggled with me on the couch all afternoon. Now he’s my shadow, always following wherever I go, making sure I’m safe and sound.”
This beautiful boy needs a forever home! If you want to be Woody’s new snuggle buddy, contact SNARR Northeast to inquire.
