The first weekend in February is synonymous with Football for most American households. However, there are some (mine included) that don’t even know what teams will be playing in the Big Game. Whether you are a football fanatic or not, there is one bowl that every family member will enjoy, including the four-legged ones!
Animal Planet’s PUPPY BOWL X will air February 2, 2014 from 3-5pm EST and then repeat all day and night with exciting new content every hour. Even if you are watching the two-legged version, be sure to tune into this fur-flying sport during the commercial or half-time (which is never that great anyway).
The Puppy Bowl not only offers 66 adorable puppies, the half-time show includes internet celebrity cats “Keyboard Cat” and “Lil Bub,” Penguin cheerleaders will waddle on the sidelines, and Meep the Bird is back as commentator, so lovers of all animals will enjoy the action.
All of the puppies and kittens featured in PUPPY BOWL X come from shelters and rescue groups across the United States and even Puerto Rico. This year’s team includes players from Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA (California), Florida Little Dog Rescue, Colorado Animal Welfare League, Last Hope Animal Rescue (Iowa) and Scottsville Veterinary Hospital and Adoptions (New York). Animal Care & Control of NYC provided kittens for the BISSELL® KITTY HALF-TIME SHOW.
