Jack Gleeson, the talented actor who played the widely hated King Joffrey Baratheon on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” recently tried to take a photo with a pug… and the pug was not into it. Because clearly this dog still hates King Joffrey just as much as the rest of us do.
As reported by MTV News, Phyllis the pug was put into Gleeson’s arms for a photo at a park last week, and judging by the disgusted look on her face, Phyllis is still harboring a grudge for every snide comment, every brutal act, and every bratty interaction King Joffrey had onscreen.
We feel you, Phyllis. Because Jack Gleeson is so skilled in the art of make believe, it’s going to take a while before we can see him as Jack Gleeson and not the infamous monster child who sat upon the Iron Throne.
Phyllis’ owner, May Carolan, told MTV News that Gleeson was “very sweet” to the little Pug. Still, that doesn’t erase moments like this:
