1. Two words all prospective PRT owners should bear in mind: hunting and terrier.
2. The PRT requires an intelligent and active owner who will devote himself to giving the dog the required time, training and attention.
3. Before beginning the search for a PRT puppy, it is wise to study the breed, understand its personality and be sure that you have what it takes to properly raise and train this feisty, energetic and sometimes overly vocal terrier.
4. Owning a PRT has been likened to a roller-coaster ride, one that’s sure to have its ups and downs but overall will be very fun-filled, rewarding and fulfilling for dog and owner.
