Paris Hilton Won’t Appear in Dog Reality TV Show

Report said the heiress would manage a fashionable London dog grooming salon for a British TV show.

Paris Hilton will not take part in a new reality TV show about dogs on Britain’s Living TV channel, a station spokesperson says.

The U.K.’s Daily Star Sunday had reported that Hilton signed a deal with Living to star in “Paris Pooches,” a reality show in which Hilton would manage a dog grooming salon on London’s fashionable Bond Street. The article had been picked up by newspapers across Britain, and in the international media.

A Living spokesperson denied any plan was in the works. “This one’s not us, I’m afraid,” the spokesperson told E! Entertainment on Monday. “It was misreported in yesterday’s Daily Star Sunday that it was, and I’m afraid I’m not sure what channel it is.”

Hilton’s public relations representative did not return calls about the report.

The hotel heiress has earned a reputation for being an irresponsible pet owner. Most recently Hilton was investigated by Los Angeles authorities after claiming to own 17 dogs – 14 more than the city allows without a special permit.
