iii. Who is your out-of-area contact?
iv. Who is your local contact?
b. Create a plan to shelter in place
i. What supplies do you need?
ii. What supplies do you have?
iii. Is the shelter safe?
iv. Are you prepared to be on your own for at least 72 hours?
4) Obtain your FEMA certifications
a. IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System
b. IS-700 National Incident Management System (NIMS), An Introduction
c. IS-10 Animals in Disaster, Module A: Awareness and Preparedness
d. IS-11 Animals in Disaster, Module B: Community Planning
