Mega Match-A-Thon

ASCPA and Bark Avenue Foundation team up with 16 Southern California animal shelters this weekend to help hundreds of animals find loving homes.

When: March 30, 31 & April 1, at 11 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.

Why: To find animals loving homes! Working together, the participating shelters will try to double the number of adoptions they made during the same weekend in 2011.

“With the help of ASPCA and our 16 shelter partners, the Mega Match-a-thon will be the biggest-ever adoption event in Southern California, with more than 5,000 beautiful, deserving dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and bunnies hoping to find new homes,” says Melanie Pozez, Founder and Executive Director of Bark Avenue Foundation.

Attendees adopting an animal will receive discounts on adoption fees, free collars and leashes, ID tags and pet product samples. All animals at he event are pre-spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
