When your boyfriend makes you pancakes it’s super sweet. When he also makes tiny pancakes for your kitten, it’s freakin’ adorable.

Kenzie Jones and her boyfriend, Chase Stout, adopted a kitten on Sept. 4, 2016. The Iowan couple named the gray ball of fluff Mr. Wilson. When Jones went out of town recently, she told Stout, “Don’t forget to feed our cat.”

To some, that might just mean keep the cat’s bowl full of kibble or wet food. To Stout, that meant make cat-sized pancakes.

“I made them just like I did mine, just with smaller dips of batter,” Stout told BuzzFeed. “Obviously I had a stack of three so my man Wilson had to have a stack of three as well. He seemed to [like them], but just like any kitten, his attention span quickly changed his interest onto something else.”

Stout added he teased Jones that he was putting chocolate chips in the pancakes “so that she would get it and be like, ‘Wait what?! He’s making him pancakes?'” Don’t worry; Stout didn’t actually give Mr. Wilson chocolate, which can be harmful to cats.

Stout’s tweet sharing the pancake breakfast has so far earned him nearly 42,000 retweets and 78,142 likes. We’re guessing those likes aren’t only for the adorable photos of a cat eating little pancakes, but also for the guy who make the adorable cat equally adorable pancakes.
