Tag, you’re it! Actually, it would be a while before 6-year-old Irish Water Spaniel Tag played any games.
A year ago, Tag’s owner, Norma H. of New Jersey, noticed that her beautiful boy with the breed’s characteristically spring-coiled coat was limping. Both her veterinarian and an orthopedic specialist diagnosed a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, which would require surgery and long rehabilitation.
The thought of keeping an energetic young Irish Water Spaniel quiet and immobile after surgery was not particularly appealing to Norma, so she tried acupuncture. The results were nothing short of amazing.
