Television star and renowned animal trainer Joel Silverman will be making stops across the country to promote his new book, “What Color is Your Dog?,” as well as share his 35-plus years of experience.
Along with his four-legged co-star Foster, Silverman will be conducting free one-hour seminars to explain and demonstrate his unique philosophy of animal training and sign books at each location he visits. The seminars and book signings are open to the public, with events scheduled through October.
“We’re thrilled to have been selected to host Joel’s book tour,” says Heidi Ganahl, CEO and founder of Camp Bow Wow. “He loves animals of all species and it shows in the way they respond to him. I urge anyone and everyone who has a pet or who’s thinking about adopting one to attend his seminar. They’ll definitely find it enlightening and entertaining.”
Throughout his career, Silverman has worked with different species of animals from aquatic mammals at Sea World to domestic pets at Universal Studios. Not only has he become the host of Animal Planet’s successful “Good Dog U,” but has also founded Companions for Life, a brand dedicated to ending the euthanasia of animals that were relinquished before a positive relationship could be established.
“What Color is Your Dog?” is published by BowTie Press, a division of BowTie Inc., which also publishes DOG FANCY and operates DogChannel.
