‘Happy Hound’ Helps Dog Owners With New Rescues

Pet-care book focuses on adopted dogs and puppies.

Pet-care columnist Susan Daffron has written a reference book for owners of newly adopted dogs and puppies.

While “Happy Hound” features advice relevant to all dogs, such as digging, chewing, and excessive barking, Daffron also covers issues – like fearful behavior and running away – that can be more common with rescue dogs. She also examines the issues that may be at work when a rescue pet is having trouble adapting to a new home.

“Happy Hound” is in stores now.
