For stray dogs in Greece, the gift of warmth is one of the greatest gifts they could receive this Christmas (aside from the gift of a loving family to call their own, of course). And one cafe is offering them just that.

A photo posted on Facebook by David Simonian last weekend shows stray dogs curled up on the couches of a Greek coffee shop. The caption states that the cafe has been letting stray dogs inside at night so they don’t freeze to death.

This is a coffee shop in Greece which opens their doors every night to these poor dogs so they won’t freeze to death outside 🙁 congratulations to the owner he/she is a sweetheart ❤️❤️❤️

According to the Greek website Zoosos, the cafe is called the Hot Spot and is located in Mytilene on the island of Lesvos, where nighttime temperatures can get down to the low 30s this time of year. In the background, the site states, the church of Agios Therapon is visible.

Until these stray dogs can find loving, forever homes, this cafe is certainly making sure their dark days on the streets are a little bit brighter.
