Not many things are as as heartbreaking as a little kid crying over something sad. When a girl made a tearful plea for the return of her lost dog on Facebook recently, she might have broken the collective heart of the internet.
The video that Laura Wallace posted to Facebook of her daughter Madison asking for her runaway dog to be found has been seen more than 10 million times since April 19, and it might have helped in the dog’s return.

“If you find Buddy, please bring him home,” Madison says in the video, although it’s hard to hear through her sobs. The video received 2,708 shares and might have led to a happy outcome.
On April 22, Wallace posted that Buddy has returned, and thanked her supporters on social media.
*****BUDDY IS HOME*****
We want to thank each and every single one of you for all of your love, support and PRAYERS!! …
Buddy was safe and sound — and very nearby. No word on how exactly the woman who found Buddy figured out where he lived, but there’s a good chance that the networking that resulted from one little girl’s plea might very well have done the trick. However it happened, we’re glad the story has a happy ending, and a happy kid and happy dog.
