Fromm Family Pet Food is recalling its 12-ounce cans of Gold canned dog food pâtés because they do not contain the right amount of vitamins and minerals.
Fromm announced on its website on March 18 that the canned food contains too much Vitamin D.
Dogs who have eaten these pâtés exclusively for a long period of time may exhibit loss of appetite. No reports of such symptoms have been filed to date, according to the Wisconsin-company, and no other Fromm Family products have been affected by the recall.
The affected cans of Gold Chicken Pâté, Gold Chicken & Duck Pâté and Gold Salmon & Chicken Pâté were shipped to distributors December 2015 through February 2016. To see if you have one or more of the affected products, look for the following information:
