Australian pet owners using one food delivery service can now share a special meal with their pup whenever they want.
Foodora food delivery service now is providing a special option to order a “doggy bag” for your four-legged friend, Mashable reports. The Berlin, Germany-based, company currently is only providing the service – under a trial period, which ends Sunday – to residents of Sydney and Melbourne (Australia) who order from Dulcis Domus, Pizza Autentico, Hannibal, Naked Chicks and Italian Chef, to name a few.
Reportedly, this partnership between Foodora and dog food brand My Dog is available only when ordering online. The “My Dog Doggy Bag” can be found at the bottom of the menu and gives your pup a choice between angus beef, pasta and carrots or free range chicken, brown rice and vegetables – for free… for now.
The downside: No fancy, creatively plated portions for your pup. We hear their meal still comes in a can.
The upside: Your dog won’t mind. Spending quality time eating dinner with their owner is what a dog will appreciate most — at least that’s the idea. And you don’t have to watch your furry friend watch you as you eat dinner in front of them.
