Ewan McGregor – ruff rider?
The actor, who filmed two adventure TV series “Long Way Round” and “Long Way Down” with pal Charley Boorman, says he’s thinking of taking a motorcycle trip across South America – with only his dog in tow.
“I might go on my own. I got a dog, Sid. I’ve trained him to ride in my side car and I thought we could do a trip together,” McGregor told the U.K. Press Association.
The “Star Wars” prequels actor said he even bought Sid a set of “doggles” – goggles for dogs – for the journey.
McGregor stars next on the big screen in “The Ghost Writer,” a political thriller directed by Roman Polanski, who’s under house arrest in Switzerland while awaiting possible extradition to the U.S.
McGregor only had praise for Polanski’s work. “He’s not afraid of saying, ‘It looks really stupid when you do that like that’ but it’s just his way and it’s never any way of an attack or whatever,” McGregor said.
“The Ghost Writer” is in theaters in limited release.
