Beauty, brawn, and brains: The Belgian Malinois has it all, according to Suzanne B., president of the American Belgian Malinois Club.
“I love that they are a complete dog,” she says. “They have the physical ability to do any task you ask of them. I love their loyalty. They bond with their family. They’re very intelligent.”
So intelligent, in fact, that Suzanne’s 6-year-old Kyah figured out how to open the refrigerator by pulling on both ends of a dishtowel hanging on the door handle. Streaker, 7, taught himself to turn on an outdoor faucet so he could drink running water.
