Dogs Raid Fridge And Now Owners Have No Ice

The owners might have wondered why they never had ice, but video caught their dogs hitting the ice cube jackpot.

This is why you can never fill your ice chest.

Warm weather is back and so is a video showing how some dogs cool down.

A pack of Golden Retrievers, as a video posted to YouTube by WonderWoofs shows, learned to hit the lever for ice on a freezer door, over and over again, nabbing the ice cubes that rained down on them.

The dogs take turns scoring the ice and making it hail all over the kitchen floor. The video is called Ice Cube Jackpot, and that’s exactly what it looks like.

The video first surfaced in October of 2010 but is making the rounds again. Either it’s so funny we want to keep it in circulation or our dogs are taking over our computers at night and using it as a training video.

Either way, we love watching it.

  • Omg they are absolutely beautiful and smart. How on earth do you combat the dog hair from those beautiful Goldens?

    • Actually Amanda, having shared our home with 4 beautiful, rescued golden retrievers, I can tell you that the hair was honestly no big deal! Brushing is a must as with any longer haired dog, but with Goldens, they blow their coat twice a year and it generally just ends up in a corner on the floor, super easy to clean up! Regardless of the hair thing, Goldens are one of the absolute best dogs around! So loving, caring, smart, funny, loyal, all around wonderful companions! Did I say smart? Just look at how smart and funny these guys are!! LOL! Boy, do I miss my house full of wonderful golden kids!!!

  • I had a Golden Retriever named Whiskey and he was so smart. I read, that Golden’s have the intelligence of a 3 year old child and understand at least 300 words. Sadly he passed suddenly in 2009 at the age,of 9. I miss him all the time. He had my heart. <3 🙁
