Jefe and Jericho are inseparable. The two best friends were found together and were brought to the Arizona Humane Society where it was determined that Jericho is living with valley fever (coccidioidomycosis), a fungus found in soil that attacks the lungs and can spread to other parts of the body. Jefe, a Chihuahua, won’t leave the German Shepherd’s side, and is seemingly determined to help his pal keep his spirits up as he lives with his sickness.
The duo are so inseparable that emergency animal medical technicians were unable to separate the two because Jefe became upset, according to Fox 13. So the humane society is looking to place them together.
“These two will need to go home together, and we recommend bringing your furbabies and human children along to introduce them and ensure a good match,” the society wrote on its Facebook page.
The humane society is waiving the adoption fees for these two in the hopes that a nice family will adopt them. They truly look adorable and definitely inseparable.
