Dogs are great with tricks, so long as you take the time to teach them. If you tell my Pit Bull, Anna, to sit, she will, but she’ll get right back up and run to the cupboard she knows the treats are in and stand there wagging her tail. I think she might like treats a little too much. Given that when I take her for a walk she stops at the fourth house past mine and refuses to go further (without a lot of effort on my part), I’d say she’s also a little too lazy. That is not the case for Otto, the skateboarding Bulldog.
Otto is 3 years old and lives with his humans, Luciana Viale and Robert Rickards, in Lima, Peru. And he’s just set a Guinness World Record. Otto is officially the top dog when it comes to skateboarding through the longest human tunnel (30 humans).
Skateboarding isn’t Otto’s only passion. He also surfs and skimboards. Perhaps those will be his next world record achievements.
