Dog Lovers Shed Clothes for Charity

Money goes to aid organization that helps seniors keep and care for their dogs and cats.

Some Lansing, Mich., residents have shed their clothes for a calendar to raise money for Pet Support Services, a local charity that helps senior citizens who have suffered physical or financial hardships to keep and care for their pets.

The 2007 Bark & Buff calendars feature nude local folks with strategically placed canines of all breeds and sizes.

The project is the brainchild of Jana Nicol, who owns and operates Gone 2 the Dogs, a specialty store for dog lovers in Lansing.

This is actually the calendar’s third year, and like previous years’, two versions are available: an all-female calendar and an all-male one. Two sets of husbands and wives posed individually for the 2007 calendar.

The 2007 Bark & Buff calendars are available at online at The 2006 and 2005 calendars are also available at the site.
