Cat Talk: Big Cats and CAT FANCY

CAT FANCY editor Susan Logan will broadcast from the San Diego Zoo this weekend for an interview on big cats and small. Tune in live or listen to the archived edition from the San Diego Zoo, where Logan will be reporting on the Zoo’s Discovery Days Cool Cats weekend show.

Logan will interview with talk show host Robert Hudson on Sat., Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. Click for the live or archived interview on the Pet Radio Show. Listeners can phone in during the live portion to talk to Logan or the host at 323-784-9646.

Logan will share the latest from CAT FANCY magazine’s March issue, out now, which discusses food allergies in cats, fighting allergies in the home and more. March’s CAT FANCY also profiles cat breeds Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, Selkirk Rex and British Shorthair.

Now through Mon., Feb. 18 the San Diego Zoo features encounters with cats from an ocelot to an African cheetah and more. The four-day celebration will show visitors how zookeepers care for jaguars, lions and other big cats and what San Diego Zoo Global does for cat conservation from Zoo scientists. Visitors can take VIP cat tours for rare behind-the-scenes looks at some of the Zoo’s cat exhibits. Cat-themed contests will run on Instagram and Pinterest during the long weekend.
