For a barn cat named Evin and a kitten named Minnie, it was love at first sight. And that instant visual connection might be a direct result of how similar Minnie and Evin look.
“My boyfriend (Jesse) is a dairy farmer. Evin was the sweetest barn cat and Jesse fell in love with him. He brought him home for me for Christmas ’14. And then we found Minnie’s litter and couldn’t resist him since he was a mini version of Evin!” Jessica Ryan told Love Meow.
Even when Evin might prefer a little personal space, Minnie is right there to snuggle the grump out of him.

“Evin is super laid back and lovey. Minnie is wild, always jacked up running around the house like a maniac,” Ryan told Love Meow.
So for these two, opposites attract.
Wherever Evin goes, Minnie is right behind him… or on top of him.

Minnie is literally a copycat of Evin.
But Evin doesn’t seem to mind at all.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell if their dynamic is more BFF, father-son, leader and sidekick, or a mix of all three.
And now that Minnie is no longer a kitten, they’re sometimes hard to tell apart.

But their cuteness knows no bounds, no matter how old they get.
It’s safe to say that these two will grow old, not only together, but attached at the hip.

Minnie + Evin = Squad goals achieved.
