Purina promises coffee, conversation and cat health education at the first U.S. cat café to open. The Cat Café by Purina ONE will be open Apr. 24 -27 in Manhattan’s Bowery neighborhood in New York City.

Cat advocate and TV star Carrie Ann Inaba, judge on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and founder of The Carrie Ann Inaba Animal Project, has partnered with Purina ONE for the café and other outreach efforts. Purina ONE has also partnered with North Shore Animal League America (NSALA) to provide adoptable cats at the Cat Cafe.

The Purina ONE 28 Day Challenge is a campaign for pet parents to change their cat’s food to Purina ONE dry formulas for 28 days. The company says cat owners can see visible differences in their cat’s health after this period.
