Carrie Underwood is happy with the attention she’s been receiving for her “All American Girl” video. She just didn’t expect the video, which features her Rat Terrier Ace, to launch the dog to stardom.
“People just love him,” says the former “American Idol,” who bought Ace a T-shirt for Christmas that reads “Practically Famous.”
Underwood tells The Citizens Voice of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., that she always travels with Ace, and brings along a suitcase full of dog toys to keep him happy when they’re away from home.
“He’s a great stress reliever,” says Underwood, whose latest album, “Carnival Ride,” is in stores now. “He’s my kid who I get to take care of and put my energy into.”
Underwood appears on “Saturday Night Live” this Saturday, Feb. 23, as a musical guest. SNL alum Tina Fey will host.
Underwood’s performance on “Saturday Night Live” coincides with the launch of her “Carnival Ride Tour,” which launched this week in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
