Pets Best Insurance pledges $1 million contribution to canine cancer campaign.

Pets Best Insurance has pledged $1 million to the Morris Animal Foundation Cure Canine Cancer campaign — the second $1 million contributor to the campaign after Pfizer Animal Health.

Pets Best will also collaborate with MAF on programs to educate dog owners about canine cancer, resources, and treatment options.

“Dr. Jack Stephens, founder of Pets Best, understands that one in four dogs die of cancer and many more suffer terribly from its effects,” says Patricia Olson, DVM, president and chief executive officer of MAF. “Jack has personally lost one of his beloved dogs to cancer, and he is a cancer survivor. When you talk about passion for a cause, Jack has it.”
