The American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation raffled off two Tiffany & Co. Mark watches, valued at more than $3,000, to benefit its Double the Dollars for Dogs Endowment Challenge. Under the challenge, the AKC matches dollar for dollar any donations made to the endowment. The endowment provides funding for genetic canine health research.
The raffle of these watches garnered over $7,000, says Wayne Ferguson, president of the Canine Health Foundation. The winning tickets belong to Lynda and Larry Seens of Ajax, Ontario, Canada. The drawing took place at last weeks Kennel Club of Philadelphia Ball.
