Keeping your dog’s vet records in one place could be a lifesaver.

We’ve all heard about the importance of keeping personal health records for ourselves and our loved ones, yet many pet owners inadvertently overlook their four-legged family members.

I learned about this the hard way when our 8-year-old Australian Shepherd’s seizures went from one every couple of months to an almost nonstop cluster one Sunday afternoon. With our regular veterinary office closed for the weekend, we found ourselves at an unfamiliar emergency vet clinic with no access to Casey’s recent lab results.
