The Staffordshire Bull Terrier dubbed “Britain’s Loneliest Dog” has to relinquish her title.
Freya had been overlooked in a Merseyside, United Kingdom, animal shelter for six long years until being cast in a major Hollywood film this week, according to The Mirror. The dog has lived at Freshfields Animal Rescue for half a decade and, according to visitor totals, has been passed over by 18,000 people.
Director Michael Bay of the “Transformers” film franchise saw the dog’s picture on Facebook. According to the news outlet, the 51-year-old director says if the role doesn’t find her an adopter he personally will give the dog a home.
We’re not sure that will happen. Look at this face! Once she gets high-profile coverage, it looks like this sweet dog will be in demand.
You’re a superstar, Freya.
