Sometimes Florida-based Scottish Fold breeder Linnea Danielsen finds she isn’t alone when she wakes up. She doesn’t seem to mind. “Many Folds like to sleep wrapped around their owners’ heads,” she says. No one could ever accuse this breed of not showing affection to their people.
“They’re very sweet and affectionate,” says Washington-based breeder Kay Bertrand. “They want to be with you but not necessarily on top of you because they have a double coat. They don’t need your body heat particularly, but they want your affection.”
