Bravo Pet Foods is recalling its Bravo Blends Chicken Diet for dogs and cats after the New York State Department of Agriculture detected Salmonella in a sample of the product. The affected packages are 32 ounces, have an expiration date of 12/5/16 and the UPC number 829546211028. According to a press release concerning the recall, 105 cases of the product were distributed to retail stores, Internet retailers and directly to customers in the United States.
Bravo is also recalling the following as a precautionary measure, as they were manufactured in the same facility on the same day as the potentially contaminated product. These were sold to distributors, retail stores, Internet retailers and directly to consumers in the United States.

Customers with unused portions of the product can receive a refund by filling out a Recall Claim Form on Bravo’s website. The form must be completed. After submitting a claim, the Bravo form directs that consumers dispose of affected products in a securely covered trash receptacle.
