The South Bay Bird Society, along with the West Valley Bird Society, will host a special advanced screening of the eco-documentary “Hotspots” on July 13, 2008 at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse in
“We’re hoping this film will raise awareness and to show the success of conservation,” said Janet Ragonesi, Coordinator of the Hotspots showing, “This documentary is of actual scientists, around the world and in our own country, showing what’s working for conservation while also showcasing the animals that live in these places.”
Proceeds from the advanced screening of the eco-documentary will go to three non-profit bird organizations: Indonesian Parrot Project, Parrots International and Ventana Wildlife Society and the California Condor Reintroduction.
