Bath: (noun) Pet birds typically bathe in one of two ways: by shower (in the shower or by spray bottle) or by bath. For birds that prefer to take a bath rather than a shower, fill a shallow container with cool to warm water. The container should be large enough for the bird but not large enough for too much water that the bird can drown. A bird that likes to use a bath will then use his wings to get himself completely drenched. The bathing container should not be easy to knock over as some birds like to perch on the side. Observe your bird to determine the temperature, duration and frequency he prefers. The water should not be hot and not include soap.
