We strive for balance in many aspects. If we’re dancers and gymnasts, we need it to move with grace. If we’re trying to stay healthy, we eat well-balanced meals. We do our best to balance work and school and family and anything else that makes up our day-to-day lives. And sometimes, balancing involves carrying several plates full of food to a table or even just standing on one foot.

When we lose our balance, we look to others for help. These are the ones who have everything together. Or who are able to keep stuff on their heads without it falling off. Like Harlso the Balancing Hound.

This little Dachshund from Northern Ireland is an expert at balancing things on his head. Just look at his Instagram page. We’re so impressed by his balancing skills that we picked out some of our favorites to share with you.
