Amazon Prime Uses Dog to Promote One-Day Delivery

A television ad in the U.K. knows the best way to showcase your product or service is to feature a dog.

Commercials are often the part of television that we skip over, leave the room during or do our best to ignore. There are, of course, exceptions. One of those exceptions is any TV commercial that features a dog. Amazon Prime U.K. knows this.

In their latest ad, Amazon Prime shows a man, Jessie, walking with his cute, little Maltese who unfortunately has a bad leg. The dog, named Flash, hobbles with his blue cast after Jessie. A look of envy comes across Flash’s face as other dogs run past him. You know he’s probably wishing he can go run after a ball too. His owner also visibly feels bad for little Flash. But then, of course, Jessie has an idea. He makes a purchase on Amazon Prime and gets his package the next day. The company’s slogan, after all, is “Millions of ways to save the day, delivered in one day.”

The next day a happier Flash is with an equally happier Jessie, who is walking with Flash in a baby carrier. Check out the commercial and let us know what you think.
