In an effort to draw attention to dog adoption, the Animal League’s weekly Pet Nursery UStream feed will expand its coverage and feature extended, live footage of 40 puppies, all under five months old and some as young as 10 weeks, who are looking for permanent and loving homes.
The 40 on camera puppies are being rescued from a puppy mill in Oklahoma. They include Pomeranian/Bichon Frises, Havanese/Bichon Frises, French Bulldog/Pugs, Cocker Spaniel/Poodles, Shih Tzu mixes, Poodles and Chihuahuas.
Coverage of these adoptable puppies will run from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. EDT, on Thursday, October 6th. The Animal League regularly runs live weekly UStream feeds from its Pet Nursery on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. EDT. To see the live streaming and other videos from the Pet Nursery click here.
In addition to these 40 puppies, there will be 120 additional beautiful and healthy puppies and small breeds from Precious Friends, in Clarksville, TN, the SPCA of Martinsville, VA, and Huntsville Animal Services in Huntsville, AL.
All of the rescued puppies and dogs will be evaluated medically, behaviorally and socially, and will be spayed or neutered, before being made available for adoption on Saturday, Oct 8 at the Animal League campus in Port Washington, NY.
