Watching our 40-foot boat, Sea Foam, motor up a channel in the early morning, you might notice many things: the red ship-to-shore dinghy towing in our wake, the yellow kayak on the pilothouse roof, and the graceful lines. And you definitely won’t miss the 120-pound Cane Corso riding on the bow.
Kona is heavier than our largest storm anchor, roughly the same size as our engine, and by far the best conversation piece in our floating home. Most people don’t believe us when we say we live and cruise the Pacific Northwest with a Mastiff as a member of our crew.
