When people say, “Respect your elders” it should really include elder cats, too. And Priscilla the 21-year-old Persian is certainly no exception.
Priscilla was saved from euthanasia by the folks at Kitty Adventure Rescue League & Sanctuary in Forth Worth, Texas. The cat’s former owner had surrendered her to a local shelter with a request to have her put down, according the rescue’s Facebook page. But upon meeting her and seeing that this regal queen was in good shape, the rescue took her in.
While we are closed for intake for the rest of the year, some pleas for help just can’t be ignored. Like this 21 year…
Not long after she arrived, the rescue team had the honor of hearing Priscilla’s adorable meow. Slightly hoarse, deep in pitch, and rich in sass, Priscilla is clearly a chatty cat with very little patience, and we love it.
New girl Priscilla, 21, has a lot to say today!!!

The couple who runs the rescue group decided to take this little old lady home and adopt her. Now they get to listen to her wise bellows all the time!
Keep doing you, Priscilla!
